Digital Film Camera
Back to home ↗Studio is the named-camera editor on ProCCD.net. It is separate from the simpler editor on the tool pages. Start with a camera profile, compare its available modes and tune intensity, grain, glow and warmth. Date stamps and print frames are optional creative overlays, not evidence of a photo’s origin.
Use a modern browser with JavaScript and Canvas support. A secure browser context and camera permission are required for live-camera use; importing a photo does not need camera access. Start with a JPG, PNG or WebP for the most predictable decoding. Device memory and browser codec support affect large images and video.
The live viewfinder prioritizes responsiveness and uses an approximate rendering path. It may differ from the full-quality JPG download. Imported-photo previews use the full renderer at a smaller working size, which can still change the appearance of texture and glow. Use the saved file to make your final judgment before sharing or printing.
Example: import the same portrait, try GRF S Cool and Warm, save each version, and compare the downloaded files. For browser JPG/PNG exports with a simpler control set, use the Retro Photo Editor.
For a repeatable edit, choose a JPG, PNG or WebP using Choose photo / clip. To use the live viewfinder, press the shutter to request camera access, then press it again to capture.
Open Cameras, choose a profile and use any available mode buttons. For example, compare 2000S Lo-Fi Phone with Dreamcore. Switching profiles resets its primary adjustments.
Use Filter for intensity and fine-tuning. Date Stamp and frame controls add optional layers. Hold Original to compare an imported image and use Undo or Redo to review your changes.
Choose export size in Crop settings and save the JPG. For live captures, confirm the download before leaving the page. Open the actual file to assess the full-rendered color and texture.
No. Live camera and video use a lightweight preview. Photo exports use the full pixel renderer, so color, grain, glow and detail can differ. Imported-photo editing uses the full renderer at preview resolution; inspect the actual download before sharing.
JPG, PNG and WebP are the most reliable photo choices. The Studio photo limit is 25 MB and 48 MP. HEIC decoding depends on the browser. Short video inputs must be at most 80 MB and 60 seconds; codec support varies.
A camera profile supplies the starting look. Profiles with alternate modes show mode buttons. Grain, glow, warmth, date and frame controls are additional settings. Switching camera profiles resets intensity, grain, glow, warmth and the selected creative effect; Undo can restore the earlier state.
The current photo export is JPG. The selected photo size is capped by the source, chosen ratio and a 12 MP ceiling; live-camera snapshots use a 2048 px maximum side. Supported moving-photo exports are short silent videos, not Apple’s native Live Photo format.
Only to use the live camera. Imported photos can be edited without camera permission. Camera use also depends on a secure browser context and device support.
The current Studio processes supported photos and clips on your device. The separate editor on tool pages has an opt-in server export; that is a different workflow.
